I wanted to know exactly what to expect after surgery. I had several surprises I would have felt better about if I'd known to expect them. The numbness and the very tight stretched feeling in the neck aren't pleasant and very prominent 6 months after surgery.

Dr Sunde is highly qualified and a very caring doctor. I highly recommend him. He is a perfectionist and he explained clearly what the surgery would involve and I knew what to expect. He prepared me for everything so I was not scared when I came out of recovery. He was there for me every step of the way. He also has a very compatant and caring staff.

I decided to consult with Dr. Sunde because I had heard such positive reviews of him from people I know who work in the medical field here. It was not hard to discuss my conerns with him because he made me feel so comfortable. He is a good listener who explains the procedure carefully, is encouraging, but not pushy. He is such a skilled surgeon! I felt great confidence as I went into the surgery with him and had reason to! I am very pleased with the natural result that I have. His follow up care is fantastic. He and his staff are so warm and caring.

Dr. Sunde was extremely professional while being caring and respectful. From the moment I walked into his office, he listened to what I wanted to accomplish, then offered suggestions as well as a plan. He is very conservative in his approach to plastic surgery which is what I wanted. His entire team--both office and hospital staff--was amazing. They made me feel very comfortable before, during and after my procedure. They were also very encouraging and supportive. Dr. Sunde was part of the entire process, and even made a house call at 10 pm the day of my surgery to make sure I was okay. I am extremely pleased with my results and will recommend Dr. Sunde to my friends. If I decide on any future procedures, I will go to Dr. Sunde.

From my first time visit, through consultations and the surgery, through the recovery and until I was released one year later, Dr. Douglas Sunde and staff were highly professional, more helpful than I ever expected and my outcome from the surgery was excellent. I received superior care and followup, felt like the entire staff were my very good friends and cared for me as a person in addition to being a patient. Dr. Sunde is an exceptional surgeon, Doctor and human being. He is caring, compassionate and runs his office with the utmost respect and privacy for his patients. I would recommend Dr. Sunde to anyone searching for a plastic surgeon and if need be, I would return to him without hesitation. Have had plastic surgery in 1991. Did the due diligence and selected [a plastic surgeon in] Beverly Hills. Was very satisfied; however, the empathy/concern demonstrated by Dr. Sunde, exceptional.Most important, I could select a gifted surgeon with an obnoxious personality, it is the end result. With Dr. Sunde, well he is an exceptional person/surgeon.

Recommendation to anyone who is considering surgery from Dr. Sunde - put all your faith in him and let him work his magic. He doesn't need instructions on how to make you look and feel your best. You will be totally taken care of by Dr. Sunde and his staff and the result of your surgery will be magnificent. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. A more caring, skillful surgeon does not exist.

Dr. Sunde's honesty, directness and availability all influenced me to feel safe and well informed. He answered all of my questions, and his interest and bedside manner were reassuring. Most of all, the fact that he visited me at my home the night of my surgery really impressed me. I was uncomfortable and vomiting, so his visit was very welcome. I think Dr. Sunde is one of the most caring doctors I have ever experienced. Even in my post-operative visits, he is never in a hurry, and he listens, and he answers my questions, no matter how trivial. He is definitely a cut above the rest.

After being uncomfortable with my breasts for years, I finally decided to get a breast reduction. I was extremely hesitant to go to a male doctor because I am only 18, but after meeting with Dr. Sunde, I was very comfortable around him. He was able to reduce my breasts without major scarring. I am pleased by the way I look now and I can walk with confidence without being harassed or having back pains. His office is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely refer him to anyone that wanted a great plastic surgeon.

I am thirlled with my surgical results. Dr. Sunde was highly recommended by 2 physicians, as well as a prior patient. He not only is a gifted surgeon, he is a kind and generous person. He gave of himself before, during and after my surgery, in ways I have not experienced with any other doctor. I wish all physicians were like Dr. Sunde. I would not hesitate to recommend him for his extremely high level of skill and knowledge and his compassion as a physician.

Dr Sunde listens to you, is attentive to your concerns, explains things well and is personable. He is considered to be an exceptional surgeon and I too found him so. He has excellent followup. His staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Nice office space. Schedules patients so they don't have long waits. He's great!

I had given much thought to this particular procedure and realized I would be moving forward at some point. I spoke with friends who had had this procedure and networked with professionals in other areas of expertise who were very familiar with surgeons in my area. I called offices to speak with those who are first contact. Much can be learned, I feel, from that call. I interview perspective doctors. It was very clear to me that I would be in the vest hands with Dr. Sunde for many reasons. He not only came highly recommended to me by people I trust but he spent a great deal of time with me before, during and aftere my surgery. The results of surgery are excellent. No one that I have not chosen to tell has a clue that I have had anything done...it is amazing! I recommend Dr. Sunde to anyone who desires the best experience possible, a doctor who also has a wonderful manner and an outstanding staff!

My surgeon and staff were extremely informative, thorough, and extremely kind. The night of surgery the doctor called my daughter, as well as made a home visit to check on me and drain drainage bulb. The doctor called to check on me every night for the first few days. I had follow visits every other day for 12 days. I felt extremely well cared for, and by following his instructions healed very fast. My eye lid surgery and face lift look very natural. I'm very happy with the results.

I was thoroughly informed about what to expect from the procedure, prior to and after. Both doctor and staff were courteous. The doctor made a house call the evening of the surgery and continued to see me for one full year post operatively. I felt that I received good treatment every step of the way.

Dr. Sunde was friendly, and took my minor request to correct my ear lobe very seriously. I felt at first he might think I was wasting his time for such a trivial thing, but he made me very comfortable. He understood my frustration at looking at my ear every single day and being unhappy about it. I appreciated his understanding so much. He explained he could correct the situation, showed me how the procedure would be done, and made me feel happy and confident in him. The results are very satisfactory. Therefore I am highly satisfied in Dr. Sunde.
