I wasn't really sure what kind of procedure I needed to improve overall" appearance of my eyes. I explained this to the doctor. One of my problems was sagging eye lids, but I also have puffy eyes below my eyebrows. I ended up having eyelift surgery thinking that procedure would fix everything. I had surgery March 2012. I live on the East coast & had procedure done while I was in Ca. I returned to Ca in July & went to see the doctor explaining my unhappiness that the eyelift surgery had not done all that I was expecting to happen. No one has even noticed that I had anything done which further upsets me after having spent over 00.00. Doctor said I would need another surgery to get complete result I wanted. I should have been told this at 1st consultation."

For me it was either make or break. I went in there decided to get the surgery within a week from my initial consultation before I backed out and they were able to accommodate that for me. It was fast, painless, and awesome! The surgery team were so friendly. The surgery itself was a success i'd say, i was only down for about 2 days and back on my feet with minor soreness. I am a happy patient!

The nursing staff followed up a lot after the surgery to ensure I was doing well and made me feel like they really cared about me. I felt I could call at any time and speak with the person I was looking for without leaving a message. The chin implant that the surgeon put on my face is not appropriate. I don't know if it is not for my chin or if it was placed too close to my teeth, because now my bottom lip is too thin and even looks inside my mouth while my chin raises it to go under my mouth. The chin implant was what they had available at the center, it was not a special order for me, to fit my face. I am not happy, after six months, I see that my bottom lip is going horrible under my mouth, and because I am getting married in November I had to put juviderm to make my b ottom lip stick out a little. I need this chin to be removed and put one that won't distorte my lip.

I had a problem with one and he placed the strattus inside and I am doing just great. I hope in yrs to come he will still be there for me again. He is a true artist. I have very good memory's when going through such a surgery. The out come was worth it.

The results and experiences of a close friend who recently had the procedure was the biggest reason I traveled 4 hours to visit the doctor. It would be much easier to use a local practice, but this is such an important decision that I want to be extremely careful in my choice of surgeon and anesthesiologist. They have my life in their hands. The biggest concerns I have are about the risks, not the substantial financial cost. Will I look natural, will I wake up, will their be any long term side-effects with muscles, inflamation or nerve damage and pain? The only way for me to guage or evaluate Dr. Roarkes skills and expertise was to meet him and his staff and to see the results of a recent patient in person-not just photographs, and hear about her experience and high level of satisfaction.

I have been considering having a breast augmentation for a number of years. I have friends who have gone through this procedure and they were happy with their results. One friend of mine actually had her procedure done at the same facility but with a different surgeon. I was very comfortable after reading over the Doctor's bio on the Centre's website and after the initial consultation the only nerves I had were what I would feel like post surgery. Overall, my experience with this entire process has been very pleasant and a number of my friends want my doctor's information so they can have their breast augmentation done by the same surgeon.

This office, including all staff from the nurses to the desk receptionists to the photographer to the surgeon, couldn't have been more professional, kind, and well informed. This is a highly personal decision, and they treated me with the utmost respect, courtesy and confidentiality. I wondered exactly how they would manage to make a plastic surgery patient feel since it seems like such an awkward conversation for someone new to this subject. However, the team at LJCSC all seemed to exhibit the perfect attitude of caring, yet casual friendliness, along with a whole lot of knowledge and professional advice. I can't say enough about this medical group, I won't be going to anyone else for my needs!

I had visited 4 other surgeons and felt that Dr. Roark did a great job of explaining details of the procedure and personalizing his comments to my specific situation which was a little more complicated. I also wanted to accomplish my goals for the end result without having to do a full tummy tuck which involves more recovery and more scarring. The other doctors told me that I should opt for the full TT even though I didn't have much excess skin or fat. In addition Dr. Roark really seems to love what he does which is also important to me. When he was not in the room, both the nurse and the coordinator talked about how much they loved working with him. Finally, my husband is a technical engineer-type person and he asked several detailed questions which Dr. Roark seemed delighted to address - there was no arrogance or condescension, just genuine feedback delivered in an excited I'm glad you asked" manner."

I had an issue with a drain 2 days after my surgery. I called the answering service since is was the weekend. No one gave the message to the doctor until Sunday morning. He called me immediately. Perhaps they should look into a more reliable service.

First, I just want to say thank you and that my breasts look great. The overall experience and work was top notch and extremely professional. I only had one small complaint and it's so small that I don't even know that it's valid and it did not effect my choice in choosing this surgeon. The one thing I would have liked is if the surgeon spent a little more time with me in the pre-op visit making sure he knew my specific wants, needs and concerns and that he would have spent a little more time with me the morning of the surgery making sure I was certain on my decision of the amount of CC's. I think the issue here is that the amazing surgeon, Dr. Roark, has done this countless times. Therefore, he is certainly confident and comfortable. For me it was my first time and I was a bit anxious and nervous. The morning of the surgery I wanted to do my sizing one last time to make sure I was certain. I felt rushed and he wasn't with me for the sizing. In the end, Dr. Roark, put the amount of CC's that looked best and I am happy with the work...very happy. Just saying...please remember for some of us, this is our first surgery and altering our breasts is a huge deal. Thank you for everything!
