The staff was amazing and helped me a lot during the nervous time waiting to go into the surgical room. The only reason I'm not highly satisfied is because I know not everything comes out perfectly. I will need a revision on my breasts to balance the size out, and revision on the lipo on my legs to also even out the size and lumpiness. I also felt that the fat injections in my face have diminished enough that the money I paid for them is wasted. Therefore, I would like a revision on that also. I'm not looking for perfection, but would like to have symmetry and balance in my appearance and get what I paid for.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cohen and his staff. I was very impressed with how professional and personable everyone was. Dr. Cohen takes time to really listen to what you want, and answers any questions you have. I never felt rushed or like 'just another patient.' The day of my surgery, I was really put at ease by the operating room nurse, and the anesthesiologist - both were just wonderful. My recovery was intense, as expected, but I was well-prepared by Dr. Cohen and staff about what to expect. I am extremely pleased with my results and would recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon.

Dr Cohen is all around great Dr. Dr Cohen has a very good bed side manner. Everyone was so helpful answered all my questions. I'm so happy I decided to have Dr Cohen do my surgery. The nurse that I had in the OR was very good to me. Kathy, Melissa are great, they took very good care of me when I came in for my follow up appointments. Jen at the front desk is great as well, she was very helpful with checking me in. The others girls that checked me out made appointments were very friendly as well. I could keep going, going. Great practice.

I felt very rushed during the pre-op and post-op experience. When asking questions about the procedure and recovery, the nurse and surgeon were both very short in answering my questions. Also, when I went into my first and second post-op appointment, the nurse told me to do certain procedures to my chest. Then, when I went to see the surgeon on the third post-op appointment, he told me that I should have been massaging them differently which I think affected my recovery process.

I was not told that when the implants were placed sub-pectoral I would lose size and would need to go with slighter bigger implants to compensate. I only met the surgeon once before surgery day. I told the coordinator and nurses at the pre-op I wanted to go over the pictures of the breasts I would like to have (as the literature clearly states the surgeon would do) and was told by them more than once to bring the pictures on surgery day and that he would go over them with me to make sure we were both on the same page". I did, but he was rushed and would not look at them. I am disappointed that I did not speak up for myself b/c now I will have to have a revision to get the actual size I want. While I think my new implants are nice and I think he is a good surgeon, they are not what I wanted. I paid a lot of money and feel like I should've been treated with a little more respect. The one who listened to me (and treated me like I was his only patient) and took time with me and treated me with respect was the anesthesiologist. He answered every question and asked several to make sure I was comfortable. "

There was a lot of pain post op, which is expected but when the post op nurse increased the pain medicine the pain did not subside after being told to wait 15 minutes. The post op nurse then deflated the drains and increased the pain medicine again to resolve the pain. She also prescribed a stronger pain killer before leaving the surgery center which helped remedy the pain so no biggie. I did run out of pain medication and the nurse was suppose to call the pharmacy for a refill but no. Also, the tummy tuck results aren't 100% satisfactory so hopefully I will be having a revision done. My expectations weren't fully met considering the PS reputation and positive reviews. I don't think the tummy tuck is as contured as it should be and one side was left with sagging skin. Also, I feel like the communication between the PS and patient probably is lacking. I believe the follow-up appointments are far in between and feel like early on that the patient should be seeing the PS sooner and more frequently than 4 week and 12 week post op. I'm really not a complainer and feel bad filling this survey with not all positive feedback but I'm just being honest with how I feel about the results.

Thought I was goin to be a little bigger then what I expected. Dr. Cohen went down some size in my implants because he didnt think it would look good on me because of the size of my body etc. they look good and natural just wish for a little bigger.

I loved being able to get the two procedures done at the same space with highly reputable surgeons. The surgery experience was wonderful. I could have used more information on what to expect post surgery, common concerns, length of the recovery period, options on pain management if the one prescribed does not work very well. I was very pleased with follow up calls and the doctor calling back. I have never had another doctor be so respectful, attentive and understanding before. Excellent service all around.

From the first step of making the appointment and speaking to the patient coordinator I was impressed. Christina was patient and has a great personality. In fact she is the reason I choose to cancel my consult at another PS recommend by a friend. Dr Cohen has a great reputation as a PS. But I won't go to any doctor unless their staff is helpful, friendly and professional as the patient you deal with them more than the doctor. I was very happy with Dr. Cohen as well as his staff. Dr Cohen is amazing he provide me a natural look and as a mom of 2 that's important. Thank you all for a great experience!!

I felt the recovery room nurses/PACU were very 'rushed' to get me out the door; I felt as though it was more focused on turn-over than safety. I left there in severe pain, nauseous, and was only grateful that my mother was a physician who could take care of me. I also was prescribed Vicodin which caused me to have severe migraines and I was unable to contact a physician to write me a prescription for percocet to relieve my pain. Thus I now had not only severe pain from the lift and augmentation but also from migraines.

I am very pleased with my breast aug and Dr. Cohen has a great bedside" manner. I do feel like he has so many patients that after surgery he is somewhat done with you. I had my surgery in Feb of 2012. I went back after 6 weeks to see him and I had to change my 3 month check up. I called at the end of August and now I can't see him until Oct 31. I still have a small bulge in my stomach and some scars around my areolas. I am hoping when I see him, he will fix. As stated before, the front desk needs to get a clue on who is coming in and for what. Martha, my patient coordinator was too busy to be there for my initial consultation, so I had someone else. So when I called to ask her questions, she had no idea how to answer them because she didn't see what my body looked like or what Dr. Cohen said to me. Of all the people that worked there, I really was unhappy with her attitude in setting up the surgery, questions, etc. She was in my opinion difficult to talk to. I loved Missy the nurse, Marsha, who was with me before surgery and after and Dr. Cohen was awesome."

Bodies scares are not noticeable because of Dr.Cohen's great work!!! Breast lift w augmentation is beautiful but truly shocked at what he was able to do with the skin damage on my stomach with a tummy tuck. Would highly recommend Dr.Cohen if interested in either of these surgeries!

I am actually very satisfied with my experience and my results. However I am concerned about my scars on the bottom of my breast especially the cut on my right breast which is rather low and very dark. I have been using the scar cream religiously but Haven't seen much of a difference. Hopefully the doctor can fix that for me and lighten up the scars because it seems my skin heals very slowly.

I wanted surgery to increase my current implant size. It was recommended I switch from my saline implants to silicone implants and they would replace them with larger implants. My breasts are the exact same size (bra size did not change, only need a fuller bra to accommodate wider implant) and they are essentially just heavier, which has actually made them sag, which was not the result I was anticipating.

Dr. Cohen was amazing. The staff in his office are kind, friendly, professional, and show a genuine car for each patient. I drove over five hours, after viewing his work and reading his reviews, to ensure this was the doctor that did my procedure. That was the best choice I could have ever made. All the nurses especially Kelly and Missy went above and beyond to ensure I was 100% confident and comfortable with my operation. The enviroment was squeeky clean, the pateint rooms were very comfortable, and the staffs attitudes were phenomenal. My mother had a surgery scheduled in Richmond, much closer to where we live, after my procedure and speaking with Dr. Cohen and his staff in regards to me, she is now moving her procedure to his practice. For my first time having surgery, he was great to have talking me through how the prodcedure would go and what to expect.My only dissatisfaction was my pre-op appointment. I felt very rushed trying on the implants. After the first size I tried on (which was way too small) the comment was made, I think we hit the nail on the head". I felt almost awkward then asking to try on any bigger of a size (which was only 50 cc's more then the original) and when I did and would ask for an opinion, none was given. Am I satisfied with the outcome, yes...do I wish I would have went a little bigger, yes. The results look good and the scarring is very minimal."

Although I'm not completely satisfied with my results at this time, it has nothing to do with Dr. Cohen skills as a surgeon, its how my body has responded to this procedure and how I'm healing. Dr. Cohen is working very hard on fixing my problem to achieve the best possible outcome. This is the third surgery he has performed for me and if I would ever pursue another procedure in the future, he will always be the doctor that I would put my trust in!

I had actually gone so far as to meet with another surgeon at one point, but I wasn't comfortable with him, his facilities or his staff, so I didn't go through with it. When I met Dr. Cohen and his team, I immediately felt at ease, and they answered my exhaustive list of questions and supported me without ever making me feel pressured. The care I received before, during, and after the surgery has exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly recommend him and this surgery center to anyone I know.

I needed a lift in addition to the implants. It has been 2 1/2 months since my surgery and my breasts have dropped and have softened. I think the major reason I am not overly joyed is because I realize I do not have any elasticity left in my skin, especially after having two children. I would have liked to have gone a little bigger. They are proportioned to my body, but I would have liked them to be more noticeable. I guess when I was considering what size implant, I did not allow enough for what was being taken out during my lift. I should have asked for bigger to compensate for what was being lost.

The surgeon said that because of how thin I was the implants could fall and the scars could rise up the breast area but he would fix that if it happened. This occurred, however, I don't know why the extra stitch or whatever could be done, wasn't done to begin with. I'm not excited about the fact of going back in for surgery, removing the implant for additional stitches and being closed up again. I wish this could have been done during the first surgery, however, outside of this, I was happy with the service.

I was highly satisfied with my experience at Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland for several reasons: from the beginning, the patient coordinator was very helpful, friendly, and patient. I was apprehensive because I was getting a second breast augmentation procedure (my first one having been about 25 years ago). Being older and considering the time in between procedures, I was not looking forward to surgery. However, encapsulation of the original implants made the surgery necessary. Getting back to my original contact with CSCM, everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I could sense that the entire staff works together very well. I progressed through my initial consultation, pre-op visit, surgery, post-op visits, etc. very smoothly and there was always someone available to answer questions. Dr. Cohen was very attentive, considerate, and understanding and really listened to my concerns. I am very pleased with my results and would definitely return to Dr. Cohen and his staff for any procedures in the future.

I always wanted the surgery but was filled with anxiety about how it would feel to go through with it. Several of the staff had the same procedures done so it felt good to hear firsthand stories of what I should expect. Everyone was kind and easy to talk to. It felt good to be pampered before and after surgery by all the staff (receptionist to surgeon!). I did everything I wanted to my body in one shot, but if I ever decide to do anything else there is no question where I will go! I got a full mommy makeover and after one short week, I am already seeing that my body has responded well to the transformation. The before and after pictures on the website and the informative videos were great too. I suggest that more African-American pictures be included in the future. It goes a long way when you see a picture of someone that looks like you on the screen. The surgeon spoke to my concerns about my body type and skin and made me feel even better about my decision to make this bold move after 5 kids!! As soon as I am totally healed, I plan to shop for new bras, lingerie and even clothes. Everything is going to fit perfect now. I am highly satisfied with my experience at CSCMD!

I understand there was an emergency due to another patient that had a complication, which can happen, but wonder if it would be better to have a doctor on call for those kinds of things rather than making new patients wait an hour to be seen. When trying on breast sizes" Martha rushed me. She did not go over photos with me, nor did Dr. Cohen. I was not given important info (such as losing size if implants are placed under the muscle, about how long it would take my breasts to "drop", the recovery process, etc.) I was still concerned about sizing at my pre-op, but Martha and the nurse assured me that Dr. Cohen would go over photos with me to be sure he understood the look I was going for. So I brought photos on surgery day. He was not interested in going over them with me, or giving me any info. Just drew on my breasts and hurried out. After surgery I felt I was rushed "out the door". Like I was on an assembly line. Also, the lady (nurse?) who escorted me to the OR was not very friendly. I was not given much verbal info about recovery at home. Just a a few sheets of paper. Also, my follow ups WERE NOT WITH THE SURGEON. That is just WRONG. Had I been given more info prior to surgery, I would've chosen bigger implants. I am not satisfied with how small they are. I felt like I was rushed through the experience. Like I was just a dollar sign. "

My coordinator Martha was FABULOUS! She knew I wanted to get everything done as soon as possible and worked very hard to fit everything into my very busy schedule. She had a wonderful personality that put my nerves at ease immediately. My initial telephone call to make an appointment was not returned. Futhermore, it took two more phone calls to get a response. Secondly, the initial patient coordinator assigned to me did not return my phone calls. After several attempts I was able to reach her. She indicated that she would call me back to answer my question and once again she did not do so. Given that she was not the one that was present during my consult I requested to speak to the coordinator that was and she returned my call immediately. She was actually much warmer and attentive to my needs. Lastly, the price that I was initially quoted was much more than I had anticipated, as I had referred a colleague for the same procedure and there was a difference of mdid="10203" survey-type="consultation" show-service="yes" feed-type="all",000. I made the staff aware of this and after a little confusion they were willing to be flexible and adjusted the price. Finally, because I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this particular physician's work (from other friends and the colleague I referred) I am seriously considering securing his service. However, with the service I had initially received I must say I was very disappointed.

I've been studying breast surgery options for 18 years. I've had 4 consultations. When a friend of mine Sara Prieble gave me Dr. Cohen's website to look at, I was so impressed with the before and after pictures. After reading his bio, I felt goose bumbs and knew he was the surgeon for me. I've seen plenty of women who've had this surgery, too many not so good turn outs. I feel that Dr. Cohen's work is the best. The atmosphere of his office is extremely comfortable and attractive, as well as his staff. Dr. Cohen's conservative and warm demeanor has me feeling comfortable with the transformation I'm about to endure.

Loved the atmosphere of the MedSpa, and everyone seemed friendly and knowledgable. Although I did decide to get my procedure done with a different surgeon that uses a slightly different method for labiaplasty (personal preference of the less-natural-looking result that involves a shorter surgery and slightly lower cost), I would recommend Dr. Cohen and CSCMD to anyone and will be returning there for more makeup and for anti-aging treatments in the future.

I attended a seminar at the office which I found extrememely informative. The staff when scheduling my appointment was very helpful and provided me with lots of information. My consultation with informative and gave me the information that I needed to make a sound decision. My only disapointment was that I was not told the extent that the recovery would take. I was under the impression that it would not be so intensive. My overall experience with the Center was very satisfying and I will be utilizing their services again.

After my first consultation, I was unsure of my implant size for my breast augmentation. When I returned to meet with the nurse to have my physical, I requested to be sized" again. Christine was so helpful and patient with me and fit me into the schedule so I could be sure if I wanted a larger implant. Kim was great with explaining everything and going over all of the paperwork that can be a little overwhelming. They do a great job at remembering that even though they deal with these procedures all the time, this is probably new to the patient. "
