Dr. Kurtz is always so compassionate. She understands the importance of not only good medical care but good bedside manner. She is very direct in her desire to empower her patients and support their needs/wants.
I was comfortable with the discussions with the provider.
Dr. Kurtz is SO friendly and kind!
Took lots of time with me, patiently discuss concerns and issues, gave positive support. Caring, and very knowledgeable.
I appreciate how Dr. Kurtz takes the time to connect, explain things, and answer any questions I may have. Her compassionate, down-to-earth, genuine personality makes me feel at ease and comfortable. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable and there was very little wait time. All in all, a great experience!

Dr. Kurtz took the time to sit down with me to discuss potential diagnosis and options. She did not push treatment options and also answered all my questions/concerns.
Dr Kurtz is attentive and kind. I feel seen as a patient and she clearly is an expert in her field.
Dr. Kurtz has been very attentive to my needs and concerns. She has addressed and resolved in a caring, professional way.
Dr. Kurtz is kind and professional. She takes her time and is always ready to answer any and all questions I may have about my health care. She had a medical student with her and appears to be a wonderful teacher and mentor.
I was able to have a dialogue with Dr Kurtz about several topics on my mind. We discussed pros and cons and made a plan of action together.
The staff (all) are very friendly and I appreciate that Dr. Kurtz took time to listen to me and to share her in-depth throughs/feelings about treatment.
The doctor was very attentive.
Dr. Kurtz was a consummate professional and a great listener. I came out of our first interview feeling like my health is in good hands and that I could be completely honest and open with her about how I'm feeling physically and emotionally.
I had questions about an unplanned pregnancy, and though Dr Kurtz prefaced her answer by saying that her bias is 'pro choice', her answer certainly did not indicate this. She repeatedly stated that she was concerned that I would be 'haunted' by my decision if I decided not to continue the pregnancy, and when I mentioned concerns around post partum anxiety (I had a rough experience following the birth of my son) said that abortion can also set off anxiety and depression. These are just a few examples, but the conversation continued in this way. It was very one sided. I had not asked for Dr. Kurtz's personal opinion, I had asked what my options were and would have appreciated more information on how the abortion pill works, effects on future fertility, etc. The only thing she said was that she could not prescribe the abortion pill and that Planned Parenthood was my only choice for that. The rest of the appointment seemed like she was trying to strongly convince me to make one choice over another. At the end of the conversation she suggested we check in again at the end of the week, but when the scheduler called they said that Dr. Kurtz was booked doing surgeries all day on the day that she had suggested. I called my primary care Dr, who was surprised that my OBGYN could not prescribe the pill. I called another provider, who was significantly more helpful in terms of answering procedural questions while being empathetic, supportive, and morally neutral. They respected that I was/am unsure in my decision and did not try to sway me in a particular way, stating that they supported me no matter my decision. I am truly disappointed to have had this experience with Dr. Kurtz, who has been my provider for close to a decade at this point and has been with me through multiple procedures and a pregnancy. I would not have predicted that this would have been her reaction to this situation. I absolutely do not feel that Dr. Kurtz was acting out of malice, I know she cares, and felt she was being sincere in the expression of her opinion, but my needs were not met in this stressful moment, and I am sad about that. I will be switching providers due to this experience.
Dr. Kurtz always takes time to listen and address any issues or concerns I have.
Dr. Kurtz took all the time I asked for to answer any questions I had about my upcoming surgery and the care I would need after surgery. I would recommend her highly to anyone who ever needed an OBGYN
Lovely staff, Dr. Kurtz and her nurse were wonderful.
[Why are you highly satisfied?] Care and concern of Dr. Kurtz.
Dr. Kurtz and staff were very kind, personable, and professional. Everyone was very comforting and supportive.
