About Lori Dobbin:
Lori received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996. After graduating, she worked in labor and delivery at Seton and then at AAOBGYN as a nurse for Dr. Uribe and Dr. Cowan. In 2001, she completed her education as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Lori is licensed in the state of Texas as an advanced practice nurse. She is board certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. She is also certified by the North American Menopause Society as a certified menopause practitioner.
With more than 15 years experience, she is enthusiastic about providing care to women of all ages, promoting health and wellness. She is able to see OB and Gyn patients for routine care as well as contraceptive consultations, IUD insertions, colposcopies, hormone therapy and fertility. She is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention and providing her patients a high level of mindful individualized care. She is an excellent listener and gives thorough and compassionate care to her patients.
Lori and her husband have lived in Austin over 20 years. They have two rescue dogs and a cat. In her free time, Lori enjoys gardening, bee keeping, cooking and spending time outdoors, exercising, and staying active.
