This was my first appointment with Michael. I found him to be a good listener and very personable. He showed me where my break and detached ligament was and explained why I needed to have a cast and why it was important to immobilize my thumb for the ligament to attach. I didn't want a cast but after much dismay he convinced me it was the best thing to do.
Michael was very detailed on my issue and had a good plan to attack it.
The provider was very informative and went over my problem in a way I could understand.
They were prompt, caring and helped make get me another appointment for a follow up quicker than the next "available" appointment. Michael was excellent.
[Highly satisfied with] The amount of time that was taken to explain the three options and which Dr. Harris felt was the best option at this time.
Michael's injections were excellent. He minimized the the pain beautifully. These are usually very painful but he was very exact where he inserted the needle and numbed everything beforehand.
The wait time was outrageous. A 4pm appt. I arrived at 3:45 and texted my arrival. No response. I waited til 3:58 and entered the building. Went into the office where I checked in and sat until 4:45. No one said a word to me that the doctor was running late during that time. At 4:45 The assistant Brought me to a room and asked some Brief questions About my injury then said the doctor would be right with me. I sat there until 5:10, with no courtesy check, when a PA entered. Do not remember his name. He proceeded to tell me there was an issue with an X-ray machine that day which caused the delay. I don't need xrays and I'm sure an X-ray tech handles that. 2 minutes later after asking about my injury I was gone. So 90 minutes for basically 4 minutes of discussion.
I saw Mike the PA. I've seen him before and he is excellent. I have no complaints.
Mike is right on target with his assessment of my hand, he predicted what could possibly happen, and it did almost to the day. Dr. Berkowitz did a fine job with the surgery, Mike answered all of my questions, and gave me good info. Nice person, great job, I feel I am in good hands (no pun intended) with this team.
[Michael was] very thorough. [Single best thing is...] Went over EMG test.
[My appointment was] on time. All questions [were] answered. Everyone involved from the front desk staff through the entire appointment [were] courteous and kind. [Single best thing is the...] kind, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable [staff].
I was released to go back to work, I wasn't looking forward to it but, I guess it was time to get back. [Single best thing is...] The surgery, I thought that I would be in a lot of pain after and I wasn't. It went well.
The caring professionalism of the entire office is terrific. Even with a bit of a post surgery ache, I was pleased with the lack of the initial bone spur, arthritis ache. Terrific job.
