Even though they were behind schedule, I was informed the entire time that there was a delay and that Dr. Mervis would be in as soon as he was able. I didn't feel rushed at all when Dr. Mervis was in the room with me which I appreciated. He thoughtfully considered me as a whole patient when deciding about my care. He made me excited and hopeful for this pregnancy and eventually delivery rather than anxious. I appreciate the knowledge and expertise that Dr. Mervis has regarding IVF pregnancies and how they compare to natural pregnancies. Not every provider would consider this detail but Dr. Mervis easily rattles off statistics and explanations of information that felt pertinent with our IVF pregnancy.
The technician made me feel comfortable and talked me through everything.
