Dr. Douglas Hendricks is a board certified plastic surgeon in Newport Beach, specializing in plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, general surgery, and hand surgery. Dr. Hendricks received his MD degree and completed a five year General Surgery Residency at the University of Louisville, one of the premiere general surgery and trauma training programs in the country. He then completed both a one-year Research Fellowship and two years of formal residency training in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Hendricks served for over 10 years as associate professor of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University and School of Medicine, where he taught the fine points of cosmetic surgery to many of the board-certified cosmetic surgeons now practicing in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills. Dr. Hendricks is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons, and the American Association of Hand Surgeons.
