Dr. Lickstein is an incredible plastic surgeon. Extremely professional. He listened and answered all my questions and put me at ease about my up coming surgery. What I love of him is that he is very realistic and is not trying to sell an unrealistic view of plastic surgery. He made me feel very comfortable and I trust his professionalism. I don't have enough words to explain how extremely satisfy I'm with him and his team. I will definitely come back to him in the future.

Doctor and staff were patient in listening and responded with clarity. They made me feel comfortable from my first visit and on all my visits after. All the nurses were so helpful will all my post op calls and if no available immediately, I was called withing the hour. My doctor was GREAT he did not let me feel rushes and took time to explain everything so nothing was a surprise after. He was very personable and I love my results.

i did not receive pre-op data until about 3 weeks before the surgery when I was asked to sign a document that attestation that I read and understood the risks associated with augmentation and breast lifts. Unfortunately, I had not. I was requird to come into the office on several occasions outside of the normal visits.. accumulation of fluids, severe swelling that did not go away for over 8 weeks. I felt that the nurses took it for granted this was the normal expectations and I should know this. But, at no time did this get communicated. I was asked by the doctor to bring a photo of the look i was aiming for... I was told the conversation would come later. that conversation never happened. I was told by the doctor that he had not decided on the implant size needed for me. no info in the literature about implants needing to drop. after three months my implants are still abnormally high. the expecations were not clearly communcated in a timely enough manner to allow me to make a different decision without losing significant money. follow through on the committment made to discuss my implant size and my desired looked was necessary but never happened

The front desk staff, nurses, patient coordinator and Dr. Lickstein were very professional and friendly. I was greeted every time I came in the office with professionalism and most times, I didn't even have to give my name because they remembered me. Both Missy and Kelly (nurses) were very understanding and comforting. They always made me feel better and understood what I was going through. Dr. Lickstein explained the procedure wonderfully and made me feel at ease. Even the anesthesiologist made me feel at ease. Any surgery is stressful but everyone made me feel at ease.

This practice is the top plastic surgery group in Baltimore. I have personally been to two others for procedures prior to this one and wish I came here initially. Everything from the recommendation of what I needed to the pristine results have convinced me that Dr. Licktenstein is truly an artist with a high level of surgical expertise. The support pre and post was top notch. I would highly recommend this practice. There is always that fear of how you will look post op and I was amazed at how quickly I was back to looking normal and able to return to public. I'm almost a year out now, and I look great! Yes, this review was a little late, but this makes for a better testimony, I think.

My face looks beautiful. My scars are minimal, and the contours are youthful and so pretty. My earlobes hang freely, and my face looks bright and refreshed, not false at all. It's a tremendous boost in confidence. I loved working with Dr. L and the entire staff. Everyone is so smart and has an excellent sense of humor and knowledge about aesthetics, the surgical experience, and recovery. My coordinators were terrific; I was always able to get appointments when I needed them, and at times that worked with my schedule. Missy reassured me and was so patient with my questions. I was grateful to Kelle for meticulously removing dozens of stitches with no pain whatsoever. I loved my M.D. anesthetist who made me laugh when I was scared. I so appreciated the aethetist who gave me camouflage makeup to prepare me for my first day back at work--and showed me how to use it. And I loved Dr. L for being an artist and making me prettier than I ever thought possible. Most of all, I love the complements--and telling people where I got my work" done."

As stated previously, the person who answers the phone and takes appointments was not willing to accomodate me outside of Tuesday appointments and was very unconcerned. Everyone else in the practice is attentive and kind but I couldn't get past the receptionist/appointment person. I'm also suprised no one has called to see how I was doing after a month and to see how the procedure progressed. I feel as if they got their money and my overall recovery and satisfaction no longer mattered. All said, I feel as if patient follow-up is not important to this practice in addition to very rigid appoint rules for post-op patients. Receptionist needs to be replaced as they are the initial face of the practice. Every time I was there from the beginning I was met with indifference and a level of arrogance that left me feeling unwelcome or not good enough to be there.

The front desk personnel made me extremely uncomfortable. They were rude, disrespectful, and very arrogant. They made me wait in the main waiting area for almost two hours before my surgery in my sweat pants and no make-up, while other patients were being seen constantly. They finally called my name and handed me my chart and told me to walk to the operatory, instead of walking my down the hallway, around the corner and into the other waiting room outside the operatory. I was already nervous about the surgery and with all of this on top of it I almost walked out. The only reason I stayed was because of Dr. Lickstein and his wonderful bedside manner. He made me feel completely at ease, therefore I let go of my anger with the front desk.

I liked how he showed me before and after pictures of cases like my own. I left my consutation saying I'd have Dr. Lickstein perform my surgery. The office and staff are really top notch. The literature that I was given to read prior to the procedure stated that I would be cared for my an anesthesiologist and I was cared for by a nurse anesthetist. I did not like that and may have chosen not to have the procedure based on that fact....except that I was there. An anesthesiologist was in the surgical area somewhere and was (hopefully) available if there had been a problem but that is not the same as being completely cared for by an anesthesiologist.Also, the time I was given to come back and get my stitches out was too far out from when it should have been. I called and insisted that they needed to come out and was given an appointment. I have scarring because of it.

The main thing was the time my surgery was scheduled. it was in the afternoon and the doctor was late so i had to wait even longer. not having food or drink since the night before. the only other thing that i wasn't completely satisfied with was that I felt like more fat could have been removed from my stomach and love handles. the doctor explained why it couldn't or shouldn't and i accepted that answer, but still would have liked more removed.

I did not schedule a procedure because my desired procedure does not exist yet. There is no reliable technology nor a procedure to give me the best results. My surgeon was very honest with me that he can do nothing for my requested procedure. He honestly stated that the technology does not exist in the request body lift areas such as my inner thighs and buttocks. He stated the current available body lift areas such as the thigh lift is unreliable and therefore did NOT recommend this procedure. I MUCH APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY! I was skeptical about my consultation because I was afraid to spend a large amount of money on this procedure but after visiting with my surgeon I am confident that when the technology is available for my desired body lift areas I will definitely have the procedure done by Dr. Lickstein.

although it took several attempt to contact once I was contacted the information was clearly presented. The explaination from the surgeon to get a tummy tuck vs. only lipo felt geniune. I did not feel like it was a scam to get the more costly procedure. While doing extensive research on the procedure, the staff and surgeon seemed highly knowledgeable on the subject and were pretty much dead on about what the procedure entails and effects from the disorder. Everyone was professional and very friendly. I was seen in a timely manner. The entire consultation took exactly 1 hour, which is the time quoted to me over the phone. This allowed me to stay on track with subsequent events in my day. The surgeon was very descriptive with the procedure and honest with clinical data that had been captured. I never felt that he tried to over exagerate the expected results. The fees were in line with what I had already researched prior to coming in for a consultation. Finally, the consulation was free. I had set up an appointment with another surgeon and a consulation fee would have been charged. I also appreciate that the patient has up until 3 weeks before the surgery to receive a 100% refund.

I did not care for the front desk girls. They were aloof, and cared more about staring at their nails, or gossiping than checking me in. When I called they were rude about the fact that I needed to speak to a patient coordinator and not to them. I really loved Dr. Lickstein, but my concern is that if I have to go through the reception desk to get in touch with him, I do not want the negativity and rudeness that I experienced from the receptionist. Especially if I am in pain, or really need help after the procedure. The girls behaved in a way that made me want to steer clear of the practice. Which is a shame, because I liked Martha and Dr. Lickstein. I need to know that I can trust the entire staff, and the reception desk was very off putting.

hello one thing i am not used to was how the office, it looks better than some five star hotels i have seen on the television, i was afraid to touch anything cause i was afraid of breaking something, all of the staff where extremely pleasant, and it made me comfortable . the examination rooms are very nice, i just love the black robes, my patient coordinator is very nice and helpful, it did not help that all of the staff is pretty but after awhile you do get more comfortable, but that is my problem, the only thing i did not like was that when i called for the appointment i was put on hold and when someone returned, stated all patient reps were busy , she took my name and number and said someone would cal me, waited two days and no one did. so i did call again , explained it and was given a patient rep, i just thought what a good way to start off ad i have not met anyone, first impression do count with me. the doctors i saw are extremely nice , caring and have some of the best bedside manners i have ever seen

I would have liked to talk to patients regarding their experience and how they felt about the work that was done. Although this is not an exact science I still would like to evatuate how patients felt about the procedure and how looked. Speaking with patients and seeing photos of patients that were similar to my age and body type would have aided my decision as well as getting feedback from patients on follow-up care.

I like that the practice is perfectly balanced between luxury and clinical excellence. I am very new to aesthetic surgery and this is my first procedure. I have researched a number of practices online. I am a Botox user and decided to visit the Center for a touch-up to get a feel for the practice and the people, and I was treated so nicely that I decided to explore getting a mini-lift. I did have to wait for my consultation, but it was made clear to me that the doctor was handling an emergency, which I understood completely. Dr. Lickstein and the staff were great about it.

I only wanted to address the neck issue. I was not interested in a mini face lift....only a neck lift. I have saved and budgeted a certain amount for a neck lift procedfure and this surgeon was not offering me any other procedure to address the neck other than the mini face lift which is more than I wanted and more expensive than I can afford.

I really like Dr. Lickstein's minimal evasive aproach to the surgery. His knowledge and professionalism. Martha was great at scheduling and answering my questions.

Dr. Lickstein is amazing. He gave me a better option that fit my final goals. I had seen three other surgeon at the time of my appointment, but Dr. Lickstein made me feel comfortable, he took the time to answer my questions. He also gave me an honest opinion that no other doctor had.

I truly appreciated the warmth and welcome of the staff and surgeons. It took a lot for me to seek surgical procedures to improve my skin and facial features, so having the staff be so kind really put my mind at ease. I had a troubling experience at another practioner; it really upset me. I am happy though that I did not get discouraged and chose to keep my appointment with Dr. Lickstein :) I am extremely pleased with both my surgical and skin consultations! I look forward to having my procedures completed here!

The entire staff really goes out of their way to attend to their patients/clients needs. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist, I was offered coffee, tea, or water during my wait in the beautifully decorated waiting room, and treated like royalty! The patient coordinator was extremely friendly and knowledgable. She made it very clear that she would assist me with any questions or concerns that I might have. I am absolutely thrilled with Dr. Lickstein! I have never met a more knowledgable, friendly, out-going surgeon in my life. Surgery is not something I take lightly, and I had planned to have consultations with a few doctors, before I decided which one I would like to perform my surgery. Dr. Lickstein was my first and last consultation. He immediately made me feel comfortable, and I couldn't imagine having a different surgeon perform my procedure. He truly did make me feel like not only was he extremely skilled in his profession, but that he would be available to me every step of the way, which is not something that you get with most surgeons.

The surgeon was very thoughtful and genuine. He answered all my questions in an easy to understand way. He apologised for being late which is only the second time in my life a doctor has done so.
