Dr. Sherick is a very kind and talented surgeon. I felt very comfortable working with him from beginning to end. While I did the hard work of losing a ton of weight and now work out all of the time (seriously, all of the time), its because of Dr. Sherick that I finally feel comfortable in my skin. At about 4 months out, my incision line is pencil thin and looks very good. Dr. Sherick and his team have been incredibly responsive throughout my entire healing phase. He definitely made the right call on what procedure to recommend and I'm very happy that I went forward with him as my surgeon.
Dr. Sherick is a very knowledgeable and personable doctor. The staff at his office are kind and warm. While I waited probably 30 minutes to be seen, it was the end of the day so I understand. I was seeing him for a follow up consultation on some work that we discussed back in January as I was only able to have a 360 tummy tuck in April. I needed a new quote because he was recommending a slightly more extensive procedure for my back, plus the quote from January was 7 months old at that point. When I received the quote, there was some major confusion on my end due to it being ~$4,000 more than what I was quoted in January and only about $1200 of the increase could be directly attributed to the change in procedure. After some back and forth with Dr. Sherick's staff it was identified that the operating room charges in my original quote were underpriced. Still, Dr. Sherick and his staff were kind enough to work with me and resolved the issue such that I was content with the final price. They clearly did not have to do this, but Dr. Sherick knew that I preferred to see him again and he obviously wanted me to be happy. I greatly appreciate that Dr. Sherick is in the Ann Arbor area.

Dr. Sherick is a past president of the Washtenaw County Medical Society. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Medical Staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and the Breast Cancer Advisory Committee for St. Joseph Health System. He is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, where he trains other plastic surgeons in rhinoplasty. As an Instructor for the University of Michigan, he trains plastic surgery residents. Dr. Sherick has also been selected as a "Top Doc" by Hour Detroit for seven consecutive years.
He actively volunteers with Interplast, reconstructing cleft lips, cleft palates and burns to improve the quality of life for patients in Mali, Brazil, Vietnam, China, and other countries around the world.
