About Alissa Floman:
When I was 13, I started as a junior volunteer for a local hospital on the labor and delivery unit. The four year experience sparked my initial interest in medicine and Women’s healthcare; however, it was the first day of obstetrics rotation in medical school, which solidified my career path. I could not wait to deliver babies and be in the operating room.
I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I moved to the East Valley with my family several years ago and graduated from Gilbert High School. I went onto Arizona State University for undergraduate and University of Arizona for medical. I completed training at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa for residency in OB/Gyn. My special interests are comprehensive care of adolescents through beyond menopause. One of the biggest perks of my job is being part of families’ best days in life, the birth of their children. My true passion is establishing long term relationships with my patients throughout their lives. I love trying new restaurants, cooking, gardening and catching up with friends.
