Verified Patient Reviews for Amanda Tissot, MD
I was seen in a timely manner. Dr. Tissot is gentle, nice and professional.
The provider and staff were on time and efficient. I had all my questions answered and didn't feel rushed. Dr. Tissot is the sweetest and took time to listen and discuss all options for treatment of perimenopause. She is kind, non-judgmental, and patient.
She is very gentle and cares about me.
Always have to wait longer than 10-15 minutes. With a baby this is a significant amount of time. Also the bathroom is so small, I had to leave the baby with nursing staff I've never met because I can't fit in the bathroom with a small child. Dr. Tissot is a good provider and is kind and attentive. However, she does not lead the discussion or offer leading questions, and as a new mom it would have been helpful to have more depth to our time together. I was taken aback by a treatment she used without providing expectations of how it would feel or how long it would last. It turned out to be incredibly uncomfortable and lasted the duration of the day, causing significant disruption. While she showed empathy for my reaction and shared what I might see post-treatment, there was no disclosure beforehand about how it would feel during the procedure.

Dr. Tissot is always friendly, thorough and reassuring when I raise any concerns. Her nurse/associate was also very kind during the preliminary review of my health information. She is kind and compassionate, both as a listener and while doing the exam, and I know that when I come for my visit that I am in highly capable hands.
She is very thorough and kind. I believe she has the best interest of her patients in mind. She provided options and explanations.
