About Anders Apgar:
Board-certified OB-GYN Anders Apgar, MD has been caring for the OB-GYN needs of women in and around the Rockville, Maryland area for seventeen years. At Capital Women’s Care, Dr. Apgar provides premium integrated OB-GYN care for women of all ages at all stages of life.
After graduating from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1996, Dr. Apgar completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hershey Medical Center, PSU. He's an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists board-certified fellow.
Dr. Apgar offers regular well- woman exams that include routine health screenings and vaccinations. Dr. Apgar diagnoses the cause of pelvic pain, discomfort, and other symptoms and explores minimally invasive surgical options to help women feel their very best and stay active and vibrant for years to come.
With comprehensive birth control counseling, fertility assessments and treatments, and care throughout pregnancy and delivery, Dr. Apgar empowers women to make their reproductive health a priority. Dr. Apgar helps support the emotional and medical needs of pregnant women and their families.
