About Andrea Petersen:
Andrea Petersen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Psychology/Public Health and Family Education at the University Of Minnesota in 1998. She also has two additional degrees from the University Of Minnesota; a Master of Public Health Degree and a Master of Science degree with an emphasis on Physician Assistant Studies. For five years Andrea worked in the area of infectious diseases, establishing local and national emergency response plans.
Specialties & Philosophy of Care
Andrea loves working in Obstetrics and Gynecology because it gives her the opportunity to play an essential role in women’s lives. She is committed to helping her patients make well informed choices about their health care.
Personal Notes
In her free time, Andrea loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling. In 2012 she was able to combine both her love of travel and women’s health in a 2 month clinical rotation in Uganda. She hopes to do additional international service trips in the future.
