Dr. Andrea Torsone received her undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University at Buffalo, New York. She then completed her OBGYN residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After years of practicing OB and GYN in a busy private practice, she started her own solo private practice in Gynecology only. She has been in private practice in Raleigh since 2001.
Dr. Torsone strives to provide prompt, compassionate, and individualized care to her patients. She believes that a trusting partnership between doctor and patient is the key to a successful medical relationship.
She lives in Raleigh with her husband and 3 children. Personal interests outside of work include spending time with family, exercise and fitness, music, volunteering in the school and community, and coaching a local summer swim team.
