Ankita Desai, MD

Dr. Desai grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended both undergraduate and medical school at the University of Miami. She completed her residency at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital which is also where she met her husband. They relocated to the area four years ago and have since had two children (both delivered by the Durham Women's Clinic).

Dr. Desai has a special interest in international health, family planning and adolescent gynecology. She provides care for women in all phases of life from fertility planning to pregnancy and into menopause.

Dr. Desai and her family enjoy getting outside to go hiking. When they're not exploring the outdoors they are exploring all of the hidden gems the Triangle has to offer. They also love to travel and hope to share their passion of travel with their kids.
