“My role as a women’s health physician is to listen to each patient’s unique health needs. I am passionate about empowering women and working together to find the best plan of care.”

My introduction to obstetrics and gynecology occurred after my first year of medical school while in Ghana researching mental health among new mothers. I watched a difficult delivery in a crowded labor ward and saw the courage, fear and pain of a first-time mother and then the intense love and joy of the delivery of a healthy baby. I knew then that nothing could give me greater professional satisfaction than helping bring new life into the world.

It is a privilege to care for women and their families, whether in times of joy or hardship. I am committed to establishing relationships build on trust and partnership. My role as a women’s health physician is to listen to each patient’s unique health needs. I am passionate about empowering women and working together to find the best plan of care.

I grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota and completed my medical training at the University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin. It was always my intention to return to Minnesota to practice and I am so happy that the Twin Cities is now my home. I love being outdoors in all seasons – hiking, biking, camping, and ice skating. Much of my free time is spent with family and friends. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and yoga.
