Professional Interests

Dr. Nelson enjoys robotic and other minimally invasive surgery, care of women with low and high risk pregnancies, contraception, and general gynecology. She feels strongly that the role of an OB/GYN is to educate and empower women so they can lead healthy lives and make great choices about their own healthcare.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with her two young children and husband. Her family likes hiking, camping, reading stories, and any activity that involves coating the floor with glitter. She also enjoys running, cooking, and travel.
