Dr. Garcia received her Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida. She graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. During her residency, she received the resident achievement award for her laparoscopic skills from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and completed her certification for da Vinci robotic surgery.
In addition to her training, she has volunteered internationally including three months in a small medical center outside Lima, Peru and a medical mission to Guatemala. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her two children, running, and swimming.
