Dr. LaMonica received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Western Maryland College in 1978, and earned his medical degree from America University of the Caribbean in 1982. He completed his internship at Wilmington Medical Center in 1983 in Pediatrics and then his residency in Ob/Gyn at Danbury Hospital until 1987.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. LaMonica is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Additionally, he also is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Connecticut State Medical Society, the Fairfield County Medical Association, and the American Fertility Society.
