Catalina Orellana, APRN

Catalina Orellana is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner practicing in Florida. She was born in Colombia and migrated to the United States with her family at a young age. She knew since childhood that she had a passion for health care. She received her nursing degree from Palm Beach State College in FL and began working as a high risk labor and delivery nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Hospital for 8 years while pursuing higher education. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University, and her Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2020. She has been active in state and national NP organizations advocating and volunteering. Catalina has also done international medical mission trips to third world countries focusing in women’s health and cervical cancer screening and prevention. Catalina has a husband and a son that enjoy taking family trips. She enjoys travel, cycling, attending her church and spending time with family and friends.
