About Cesar Gumucio:

Dr. Cesar Gumucio is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Athens, Georgia. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Cesar Gumucio's treatment philosophy has always been centered around treating patients as family. Dr. Gumucio likes to assure his patients to receive not only knowledge and expertise, but care and concern as well.

Dr. Gumucio attended the exclusive six-year MD/BA medical program at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He completed his general surgery training at the prestigious Barnes Hospital/Washington University program in St. Louis. He remained at the same institution for his plastic and reconstructive surgery training. 

Dr. Gumucio is affiliated with several organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Crawford Long Medical Society, the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons, and as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
