Dr. Nwogwugwu provided detailed explanations and answered all of my questions. She provided me with options for what needed to be done and explained the pros/cons of each. I feel I was able to make an informed choice and the best choice for me due to the time and consideration she gave me. I did not feel rushed at all during the appointment. Dr. Nwogwugwu was able to get me an ultrasound during my appointment so we could find out for sure what was going on and what treatment would need to be considered. From the beginning, I felt at ease and very comfortable in what was a not very comfortable situation.

Following medical school, she was accepted into the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she completed her Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Training in the Texas Medical Center afforded her an opportunity to meet and treat people from varied backgrounds, with very unique and diverse conditions.

Dr. Nwogwugwu offers a wide-ranging of care and treatment options for women including the management and delivery of pregnancy, preventative care, family planning and management of acute and chronic issues such as vaginal discharge, vaginal dryness, sexually transmitted diseases, pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, PCOS, ovarian cysts, menopause, and osteoporosis as well as minimally invasive surgical and diagnostic procedures including hysterectomy and colposcopy.
In her free time, Dr. Nwogwugwu loves to spend time with her family. She enjoys traveling, meeting new people and learning about their culture. She enjoys reading period pieces and loves to cook for friends and family.
