I believe Dr. Shamas is knowledgeable and I have been seeing her for a few years. She takes the time to answer my questions. However each and every time I visit, I have to wait an hour, or more so there is something wrong with the scheduling. If there are new patients being seen, the timing should be taken into account. A patient's time is valuable.

She attended medical school at USF and completed her OB/GYN residency at the Florida State University. Dr. Shamas has a special interest in primary care of women, obstetrics, contraception, as well as minimally invasive and robotic assisted surgery. She is married and has young son. Dr. Shamas is an avid and accomplished soccer player.
