Dr. Courtney Cohen was born and raised in rural Virginia. She received her BS in Neuroscience at The College of William and Mary and then earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Venturing away from Virginia, she next came to Vermont where she completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in 2017. She then returned South to settle in Asheville, NC, a place Courtney grew up visiting and always longed to return. When Courtney is not at the office or hospital, she can generally be found outdoors with her husband and two dogs, Odi and Mars. In September, Dr. Cohen and her husband welcomed a new additional to their family, a son.
