Her surgical interests include office hysteroscopy and LEEP, outpatient operative hysteroscopy, including endometrial ablation and hysteroscopic resection of uterine fibroids and polyps. She also performs minimally invasive hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and salpingectomy. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Baras grew up in Virginia Beach, where she developed a love of the ocean. She is married to Alex Baras, also a physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and has two young children.
