David Baum, MD

David Baum, MD, is a member of the expert medical staff at The Association for Women’s Health Care, serving women in The Loop in Chicago and Northbrook, Illinois. He specializes in obstetrics, particularly the management of high-risk pregnancies. He’s also experienced in evaluating abnormal PAP smears, providing well woman gynecologic services, preventive health care, and evaluation and treatment of heavy menstrual cycles.

A graduate of the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Dr. Baum completed medical school at the Chicago Medical School at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

He and the other doctors on the staff of The Association for Women’s Health Care are affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He’s also affiliated with Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago and serves on the staff at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Baum was recognized for teaching excellence during his residency and during his 25-year career at Northwestern. He’s also served on numerous leadership committees at Northwestern.
