Dr. Weinstein graduated from Yale University, and went on to earn his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. A native New Yorker, he returned home to complete his internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and later joined New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center for his residency. Dr. Weinstein has since been appointed to the faculty of New York Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, and Stamford Hospital. He has conducted specialized research in his area of expertise, obstetrics and gynecology.

A member of many obstetric and gynecologic societies, Dr. Weinstein is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Weinstein has served his country as a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy.
