Deborah Spiers, DO

Dr. Spiers, originally from Dearborn, Michigan, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Spiers is passionate about providing patient-centered care. She enjoys educating patients about their health and empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their management options. Prior to joining the staff of Woman’s Health Centers, Dr. Spiers was a member of a hospital owned practice located in Kansas City, MO. During her time there, she also enjoyed collaborating with the local midwifery community.

Dr. Spiers received her BA in Biology from Albion College in Albion, MI, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. While earning her undergraduate degree, Dr. Spiers was an active member in several honor societies, as well as, her sorority’s philanthropy. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Spiers completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McLaren Macomb in Mt. Clemens, MI.

Dr. Spiers has professional affiliations with the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Spiers is married with 2 young children. She enjoys spending her spare time with family, especially at the beach or the zoo. Her other hobbies and interests include: tennis, golf, and reading.
