Emily Cyr, MD

Dr. Emily Cyr is the newest member of our practice, joining us in August 2008. Dr. Cyr is from Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated Magna cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha with B.S. in biology in 2000. She went on to Creighton University School of Medicine and graduated in 2004. She completed her internship and residency at the Phoenix Intergrated Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology here at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and Maricopa County Medical Center. Dr. Cyr got to know Dr. Hahn and Dr. Spieker through her residency program at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and it was an easy decision when they asked her to join their practice.

Dr. Cyr is eligible for board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Phoenix Obstetrics and Gynecology Society as well as the Arizona Medical Association. She served as the Resident Reporter for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology annual meeting in 2007. She is interested in hig risk obstetrics, laparascopic and laser procedures and preventative care in young women.
