Emily joins the medical team at Capitol Women’s Care with 7 years of experience in women’s healthcare and direct patient care. At NYU Medical Center, she worked as a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit, and later as a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood, Community Health Centers of Pinellas and Women’s Care FL.
Emily has a particular clinical interest in breast health, family planning, infertility, and healthy pregnancy. She is skilled in contraception management and offers IUD and Nexaplanon placement to her patients. She values a non-judgmental, holistic approach to patient care. She sees each patient as an individual and provides compassionate care with an integrative approach to ensure healthy outcomes.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, cycling, and spending time with her husband and young daughter. She and her family recently relocated from Tampa, FL to Columbia, Maryland and are excited to explore their new area together.
