Parking, communication, ease of access from Glastonbury main St. Better than Hartford. Thorough discussion and exam and nice chaperone. I have had Dr Rau for 20 years. He is always faithful, caring, concerned, intelligent, keeping up with new advancements in technology and medical and passes knowledge to me when needed, great surgeon and teacher. Dr. Rau completed a fellowship in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1991.
In addition to his practice in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Rau is Director of the Division of Gynecology at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, and sees children and adolescents for gynecologic consultations. Dr. Rau is certified in da Vinci® robotic surgery and has an active minimally-invasive gynecologic surgical practice. Dr. Rau is an Assistant Clinical Professor in ObGyn and Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Dr. Rau loves playing with his grandson and granddaughter when he is not caring for others. He also enjoys running, skiing, and improving his Thai language skills.
