Glynn Bolitho, MD

Dr. Glynn Bolitho is a plastic surgeon residing in La Jolla, California. With honors and receiving numerous awards, Dr. Bolitho attended the University of the Witwatersrand. He completed his residencies at the University of Cape Town in general and plastic surgery, and then proceeded to Oxford’s Radcliffe Infirmary in the United Kingdom continuing in plastic surgery. His multiple plastic surgery fellowships included hand surgery at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, plastic surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, and surgical oncology at Emory University.

Dr. Bolitho is quadrupled certified in plastic surgery in the United States of America, Canada, Great Britain, and South Africa. Providing extraordinary patient care is the foundation of Dr. Bolitho’s medical practice. At the University of California in San Diego, Dr. Bolitho fulfills a non-salaried appointment as Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and is serving his second consecutive term as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla.

Dr. Bolitho is an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Furthermore, Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., selected Dr. Bolitho as a “Top Doctor” in 2014 and 2015.  Regionally, Dr. Bolitho’s peers at the San Diego County Medical Society chose him as “Top Doctor “for the past three years.
