Helen Donofrio, MD (formerly Helen Stolyar, MD) joined the team at this Women’s Health Connecticut practice in 2022. Dr. Donofrio attended Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology and Biology in 2014. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston in 2018.
Dr. Donofrio completed her residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in 2022. During her residency she was an ACOG Program Ambassador, serving as a liaison between the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the residency program.
Dr. Donofrio provides routine ObGyn care to patients of all ages in Middletown and Essex. She is currently accepting new patients.
When not at work, Dr. Donofrio enjoys outdoor activities like running, skiing, and frisbee. She is an avid reader and loves to travel.
