Longer wait than usual
The staff was friendly and kind and professional and they knew what they were doing.
We discussed some issues I was having with not sleeping at night and my continued chronic pain with my fibromyalgia. She suggested that I try HRT to possibly help with some of the pain and to help me try and sleep better at night. We talked about my current GLP-1 situation. She was very informative about my metabolism slowing down with the weight I have lost and menopause causing my metabolism to slow down as well. Great support and my exam went well.

She was awarded a Masters of Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2006. Helene also achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University in 2001.
Helene has extensive experience in caring for the healthcare needs of women of all ages. She has worked in women’s health for over 8 years. She has training or certification to perform many gynecologic procedures such as colposcopy and endometrial biopsy. Helene also has experience in urgent care and family medicine. Prior to her career as a Physician Assistant, she worked as a Patient Advocate at Virginia Beach General Emergency Department and volunteered for the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Helene is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and is a Certified Physician Assistant.
