Hypertension / High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure, also called hypertension, is blood pressure that is higher than normal. Usually hypertension is defined as blood pressure above 140/90, and is considered severe if the pressure is above 180/120, and if untreated, it can cause health conditions such as heart disease and stroke. Treatments typically include eating a healthier diet, exercising, and medication.
