My primary reason for scheduling a consultation was to discuss exchanging my breast implants, as my current implants are 15 years old. I was also interested in increasing their size because my body has changed significantly after having children, and I'd like to achieve a more proportionate appearance. Additionally, I wanted to ask about SafeLipo for a few areas of concern, but I wasn't sure whether I was even a candidate. I genuinely appreciated Dr. Wall's honesty in recommending against liposuction, as I value a physician who prioritizes realistic expectations over performing a procedure that is unlikely to provide the desired results. That said, I left feeling disappointed because the focus of my appointment shifted almost entirely to weight loss, while my primary reason for the consultation (my implant exchange) felt like an afterthought. I completely understand that reaching a goal weight can help achieve the best surgical outcome, and I appreciate that this was discussed. However, I didn't feel that my concerns or goals were fully heard. I also felt that the conversation surrounding GLP-1 medication lacked consideration for my individual circumstances. I explained that I live two hours away, have young children, and work full-time, making monthly office visits for injections unrealistic. I would encourage the staff to take a few moments to understand a patient's lifestyle and circumstances before making assumptions about their eating habits or recommending a particular treatment plan. Every patient arrives with a different story, and I believe listening first allows recommendations, whether medication, lifestyle changes, or surgery to feel more personalized and collaborative. Overall, I respect Dr. Wall's expertise and appreciate her transparency. I simply wish my consultation had felt more centered on the concerns I came in to discuss and more tailored to my individual situation.

Dr. Casey Wall attended Brigham Young University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in nutrition. She then went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Utah. Afterwards, Dr. Casey Wall completed her general surgery and plastic surgery training at Stanford University Medical Center, along with some of the most famous plastic surgeons in the world.
Dr. Casey Wall is a Louisiana plastic surgeon who enjoys all aspects of her aesthetic surgery practice. She particularly focuses on aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, mommy makeovers, and breast reconstruction. She also volunteers her time to organizations such as Interplast, traveling to Haiti, Mexico and Peru. On these trips, she performs cleft lip and palate surgery on those without access to plastic surgeons.
Dr. Casey Wall is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is licensed in both Louisiana and California and is also an active member of the Shreveport Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the Louisiana Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
