I have been with this practice for years due to several factors, most especially my respect for Dr. Mortman and the good care I have received from him and also on a couple of occasions, from Dr. Jaffee. Also, the office is conveniently located with easy parking, many open hours, and very efficient and helpful office staff. This visit was especially helpful. Dr. Mortman was attentive, engaged, and provided information beyond the issues of the visit. He treated me as an individual, and was empathetic and offered solutions and helpful ideas. I felt that I could share my own observations and was heard.
The office was able to fit me in immediately for a somewhat urgent exam.
Dr. Mortman is an amazing doctor and has been my gynecologist for almost 20 years.

Dr. Mortman practices obstetrics and gynecology with special interests in women’s preventative care, premenstrual syndrome, perimenopause, menopause, ultrasound, imaging, contraception, and infertility. He joined Sharon OB/GYN Associates in 1991.
Dr. Mortman is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Accreditation Fetal Medicine Foundation, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine as well as the Association for Medical Ultrasound.
In addition to his dedication to women’s health, Dr. Mortman is passionate about photography, cycling, music and playing the piano and keyboard. He is married with three children and has three standard poodles.
