Inland Cosmetic Surgery

My day of surgery was stressful enough, but then I had an inexperienced nurse (I don't recall her name) try to start my IV, which she was unable to do. It was bleeding quite a bit and she was hurting me as she poked around, before she finally asked for assistance. This meant they had to find another vein, which added to my anxiety. She mentioned that she was new, but I feel like this was unacceptable, and that she wasn't trained properly to start an IV. I also was not fond of the bedside manner of the anesthesiologist who came in to talk to me. She was very hard to understand and did not seem very compassionate. The combination of these two individuals, did not make for a good start to my surgery day. In the recovery room, I also had the same nurse, who did not give me very clear instructions for going home, specifically regarding my drains. The surgery nurses were great and have no complaints about them. And of course, Dr. Haiavy did an amazing job! That was the reason I returned to him for my surgery after 20 years!! The best thing about my breast explant surgery is how comfortable and healthy I feel now. I have not been able to lay on my stomach for years and now even feel comfortable hugging people without the rock hard breasts getting in the way. I also don't have the worry about breast cancer detection any longer, since my scar tissue and encapsulation were making mammogram screenings impossible!

Excellent procedure with attention to patient's expected outcomes while prioritizing safety.

From the beginning to the end, everything was perfect and seamless. I requested to have arm lipo. My arms were very big compared to my body. I did not have just a little flab. When I was actually 2 inches bigger than the other I’ve had problems with my whole life. Dr. warned me that I would maybe have some crinkling if I did not do the forearm lift due to my arms being so big. I opted out and went with just lipo. I was only looking for a small, smaller circumference not perfection. I kinda wish I would have listened part but I did not want the scar and either way I’m very happy with my results. My arms are about 12 inches now. I feel so free. I don’t have constant thought of arms on my mind. I actually wear tank tops. Every single person I ran into was extremely professional, friendly and understanding. My favorite person was my doctor. I really enjoy making her laugh. Her calm presence and reassurance was all I needed. I will definitely be returning to her in the future. I also bought two sets of the lymphatic massages. Very very necessary. Paulina is the best. She really gets in there, pay attention to the problem areas every time I left her my arms, looked a little bit better. I am so grateful for the staff. Thank you for everything that you guys do.
