She received her Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Microbiology and Cell Science from The University of Florida in 1996. She received her medical degree from The University of Miami School of Medicine in 2000. She moved to the D.C. metro area for her OB/GYN residency, which she completed from The George Washington University in 2004. In 2007, she was part of an educational symposium, “Women living with MS” hosted by the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her special interests include: cervical dysplasia, dysfunctional uterine bleeding and infertility. Dr. Couret is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Couret enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
