Jennifer Escobar, MD

Dr. Jennifer Escobar has been serving the Melbourne area at Hibiscus Women's Center since 2017. Originally from Miami, Dr. Escobar graduated from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine where she was inducted as a member of the Barnes & Behnke Chapter of Gold Humanism Honor Society, received the Robert G. Nelson Award for excellence in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology and served as Class President. She completed her residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando where she was honored as Chief Resident. While at Winnie Palmer, she gained extensive training in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including Robotic Surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System. She moved to the Melbourne area to be with her husband Dr. Michael Diaz.

Dr. Escobar is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and provides comprehensive OBGYN care with a focus on high risk obstetrics, in-office procedures, hospital based surgical management of gynecological issues, adolescent gynecology and preventative women’s health.
