After completing his OB/GYN residency in 1987 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, Dr. John Scian joined his brother, Dr. Joseph Scian, in private practice. He maintains a strong interest in providing high quality compassionate care and especially enjoys the long-term patient relationship. “It’s a privilege to be entrusted with a patient’s care over the course of her lifetime.” Dr. Scian offers expert pregnancy care including treatment for high-risk patients, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, treatment of abnormal pap smears and routine gynecologic care. He has served 4 years as Chair of Department of OB/GYN at Chilton Medical Center and currently he is Vice President of the Chilton Medical Staff. Dr. Scian has served in a variety of leadership roles at Chilton Medical Center, including past Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He currently serves as President of the Medical Dental Staff of Chilton Medical Center and is a member of the Atlantic Health System’s Board of Trustees and the Chilton Advisory Board.
