Dr. Shimp was wonderful, 5 stars. I am frustrated however because at the office, I filled out a form to request my health history from my previous Dr. at Millenium, for the main purpose of comparing my new mammogram to past results. It has been 2 weeks and they still have not acknowledged and compared my old mammograms to the one I had on 4/8 at Dr Shimps office. With a strong family history of breast cancer, this is surprising and disappointing to me.

Dr. Shimp is a star in her field. I have known Dr. Shimp since she started practicing medicine in Fort Myers. I also worked with her until I retired in 2018. So, I have known her as a patient and as an employee. She is one a few physicians that I would trust with my life.
Dr. Shimp is wonderful. She always comes in with a smile. Never rushes through visits. Goes through history and current status. She is truly concerned and involved in her patients well being.

She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Dr. Shimp completed her OB/GYN residency training at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
