Born and raised in northern Ontario, Canada, she attended Wake Forest School of Medicine before completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After residency, she was delighted to return to Winston-Salem, where she has now been caring for women in the community for more than seven years.
Dr. Kesty is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is committed to providing evidence-based, individualized care and values building lasting relationships with her patients throughout every stage of life. She considers helping women navigate their unique health journeys to be the most rewarding aspect of her career.
Her professional interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, particularly robotic hysterectomy, which allows for smaller incisions, less postoperative pain, and faster recovery. She also has a special interest in the medical management of abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, endometriosis, vulvar dermatoses, and fibroids. She enjoys helping women navigate the transition through perimenopause and menopause, with the goal of supporting their health, well-being, and quality of life throughout their midlife years.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kesty enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, as well as reading, running, and biking.
