He completed his undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology at Duke University and was accepted into medical school where he received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Fleishman went on to complete OB/GYN residency training at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia.
He specializes in state-of-the-art OB/GYN procedures, such as the daVinci® system for minimally invasive surgeries, MonaLisa Touch® for vaginal atrophy, NovaSure® endometrial ablation to reduce menstrual bleeding, and much more.
Dr. Fleishman offers gentle cesarean sections, so families can feel as involved as possible during a more natural birthing experience. He gives patients the compassionate care and time needed to exceed expectations, whether they have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), uterine polyps, infertility problems, or a high-risk pregnancy.
Dr. Fleishman maintains his advanced credentialing to stay abreast with the latest advancements in women’s health. He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and a member of numerous OB/GYN and other medical organizations. Dr. Fleishman is a Vitals Patient Choice Award 5-year Honoree (2014-2018), and one-time Vitals Doctor Award winner. He is was also named as one of Marquis "Who's Who in the World", which names the top 3% of professionals in the world.
