Lauri P. Cox, FNP

About Lauri Cox:

Lauri Cox, a native of North Carolina, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.S. in Nursing in 1992. Her nursing experience consists of neonatal intensive care, public health and nursing education. In 1998, she became a board certified lactation consultant. She completed her MSN/Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Duke University School of Nursing in 2005. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and her interests are women's health and breastfeeding. Prior to joining Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates in 2005, Lauri worked at Forsyth Medical Center as a lactation consultant. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and MidSouth Lactation Consultant Association.

Lauri is married and has three children, two boys and a girl. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
