Dr. Leonard Ferrucci was raised in Long Island and attended Manhasset High School, he later went on to receive his undergraduate bachelor of arts degree in Biology from New York City’s Columbia University in 1983. Dr. Ferrucci then earned his medical degree in 1987 from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
Dedicating his career to women’s health, Dr. Ferrucci moved to Connecticut to complete his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Hospital. He graduated in 1991, while having already become a founding partner of Ferrucci, Ferrucci & Morris in 1989.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Leonard Ferrucci has been recognized as one of Connecticut Magazine’s Top Doctors in Obstetrics and Gynecology every year since 2006. Receiving these awards is a result of other doctors recommending Dr. Ferrucci as someone they would send their loved ones to for expert medical care.
