Second year now that it takes 20 or so minutes waiting in the examination room. This time around, my perception was that another doctor's assistant, who was with a different patient who arrived after me, may have guided the doctor to see her patient first. Maybe it was just my perception of what I saw happening in the hallway, though. Dr. Thompson is always friendly and helpful. She really takes the time to listen to me. I appreciate her very much!

She is also passionate about providing support for postpartum mental health, prenatal care and other obstetric issues.
Our accomplished San Antonio OBGYN, Mallory Thompson MD received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating magna cum laude with a minor in Chinese, Dr. Thompson pursued her medical education at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. She received her medical degree before moving to Dallas to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center.
As a medical student, Dr. Thompson received a full-tuition merit-based scholarship, as well as the Outstanding Senior Student Award, Obstetrics and Gynecology. During her residency, she received the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology award. She takes the most pride in the Service Excellence Award she received at Baylor University Medical Center. The nurses nominated her for this honor based on her “service and patient care beyond scope of duty.”
Mallory Thompson MD is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has da Vinci System certification. She is a member of several professional organizations.
