About Maria Keanchong:

Dr. Keanchong is a female robotic surgeon and a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist in private practice since 1996. She earned her Medical Degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School in 1992. She attended Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Dr. Keanchong is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health, at UMDNJ-NJMS.

Dr. Keanchong was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, her family immigrated to the Unites States when she was two years old and she is fluent in Spanish. Her paternal grandfather was from Chung-Shan, Guangdong Province, China; unfortunately she never learned his native language. She has two daughters, Ana.
