The medical assistant who triaged me was very friendly and reassuring. She stated, "We do not turn any patient away," which I found very comforting, especially as a new patient. The provider was also friendly and took the time to explain everything in a way I could easily understand. Maris made sure to reassure me that if I had any additional questions or needed further assistance, I should not hesitate to ask.

In 2016, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing specializing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama. Most recently, Maris served as Lead Nurse Practitioner at Forest Hills Medical Services in Forest Hills, New York. Maris specializes in preventative services, contraceptive counseling, family planning, fertility counseling, and STD screening, and is currently accepting new patients. Outside of work, Maris is very passionate about nutritional counseling and fitness. "I love to spend a lot of my free time in the gym training," she says. "I have competed in multiple bikini competitions which not only taught me a lot about muscle growth and dietetics, but also about rising to and conquering personal challenges."
